Praise Items by Deborah & Judith

Testimonies of BMin Class of 2007

 Bernard Jack Akhwale

Assistant Pastor, BCEA Campus Church, Kenya

I have learned that the Bible is the Word of God, that the best, most accurate, and reliable version is the Authorised Version which originates from the best Scripts, the Hebrew Masoretic Text for the OT, and the Greek Textus Receptus for the NT.

Christopher Mureithi Kabugi

Pastor, Fountain of Life Churches, Kenya

I have learned how crucial it is to make a vow before God and to be careful to fulfil it. This I learned through reading a very moving book—Son of a Mother’s Vow—by Timothy Tow.

Many heresies are entering the ears of our people. But I thank God that I am able to stand up and refute anything that is not biblical.

Margaret Wanjiru Karanja

Teacher, Mt Kenya Children’s Home, Naromoru, Kenya

I have been moulded through God’s Word. I am now able to stand firm as God’s servant to be able to overcome every trial that come my way, and can teach others how they can overcome the trials and hardships of life.

Jacob Mwangangi

Pastor, Independent Presbyterian Church, Mwingi, Kenya

Thanks be to God who has enabled me to go through the four years of studies at BCEA, as well as the BMin programme of FEBC. The courses made me aware of the apostasy of the end times, and that I should earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints (Jude 3). Instead of getting involved in ecumenism and false unity, I will initiate the three ‘R’s as taught in the Book of Ezra, Reformation, Revival and Restoration. We must not forget the 16th Century Reformation.

Samuel Mafaru

Teacher, Tanga Christian Bible College, Tanzania

I have learned to contend for the faith, and separate from modernism. From the book—Kept Pure in All Ages—I learned that we have the very pure Word of God even today. All the memory verses and daily quizzes have helped me to be more disciplined in the study of God’s Word.

Wabomba Munjwe

Pastor, Bumula Friends Church, Bungoma, Kenya

Throughout the BMin programme, I found myself developing to become spiritually and academically strong. The courses are biblically grounded, and have given me a deeper understanding of the Bible.

Agim Iravonga Musitkho

Evangelist, Dagorett PAG Church, Kenya

The division of books we have learned has really sharpened my mind, and I can understand the Biblical books well and apply the truths in my life as well as to the people of God. Using the words of Dr Timothy Tow, “A sermon without application is not a sermon, it is a lecture.”

This programme has enabled me to teach God’s Word precisely and correctly. I am fully convinced that God’s Word is verbally and plenarily inspired, and verbally and plenarily preserved. These are twin doctrines which go together and cannot be separated. The God I know, the living and true God, has preserved His Holy and Sacred Word.

Joshua K Muthui

Pastor, Africa Church, Kenya

The course has really moulded my character as God’s servant. As I recall the lessons from the Pauline Epistles, I am convinced that God called me to be His servant, indeed a bond servant for that matter. I desire now to serve the Lord with greater determination.

Yohana Muya

Teacher, Tanga Christian Bible College, Tanzania

Many churches in Tanga are Charismatic or Pentecostal, and many of them are not faithful in preaching God’s Word. How can I revive other churches to the trueness of God’s Word? I need to preach and teach what I have learned with much patience, and hope that one day they will come to the truth of God.

Betty Mwema

Teacher, Ebenezer Restoration Christian and Orphanage Centre, Githurai, Kenya

I learned how to stand upon the living and true Word of God, and not compromise in such perilous times. The BMin course has helped me to deal with the Charismatic movement and its false prophets. I am able to answer the people’s questions and win them for Christ.

Daniel M Ndeti

Pastor, Africa Brotherhood Church, Mitaboni, Kenya

On matters pertaining to the Church, I have learned that I must be diligent in learning, and ready to influence others to the Cross for their salvation. We have the preserved Word of God today, and the Church can grow vertically and horizontally if we take the Word of God in the correct manner.

Lazarus Ngige

Assistant Pastor, BCEA Campus Church, Kenya

I have been rejuvenated in my spirit. I have been made to reexamine myself whether I am still on the road of faith or not. I have learned that for one to succeed in the ministry and be used by God, humility is paramount, and prayer should not be left out.

Peter Mbede Oyugi

Youth Pastor, Fountain of Life Churches, Kenya

The BMin course has been exceptionally beneficial to me for it has given me the tools I can use against the contemporary theology that has watered down the truth of God’s Word. The book—Fundamentals of the Christian Faith—has helped me in teaching the basic doctrines to the church that I serve, especially among the youths. The knowledge of God’s Word is already making a great impact in the lives of my members. This has been possible because of the good teachings I have acquired.

Nyikwec Pakwan

Pastor and Deputy Coordinator of Education, Presbyterian Church of the Sudan,
Greater Upper Nile Region, Southern Sudan.

It is my thanksgiving unto our good Lord for giving me care and protection during my constant trips from Sudan to Kenya for the BMin residential courses in the college premises. Indeed, the relentless effort of both my lecturers from BCEA and FEBC uplifted me spiritually and knowledgeably and has effectively prepared me for the service of the ministry in Sudan. The BMin course has been very instrumental educative tools for my ministry.  Although, the collateral reading modules required hard labour and extra time management, the assigned books were well thought out for the service of the Lord. With that knowledge, trust, kind words and open sharing with my lecturers, I feel, I am a better person in understanding some vital points with confidence as clearly stated in the Bible (Phil 1:25).
