A GLIMPSE OF THE LIFE AND WORKS OF
JOHN CALVIN
This book was
written because "Calvinism is often misrepresented, not only by its
opponents, but also by those who are counted among its adherents."
Through this glimpse of Calvin's life and works, the reader will be
drawn to a deeper study of the man and his writings.

ASIAN AWAKENING
The Asian Awakening is a series of lectures by Dr
Timothy Tow to the
School of Theology, Spurgeon’s
Tabernacle, London 1986, being a commentary on John Sung, China’s
greatest revivalist.
In
order to give a full-orbed view of the Asian Awakening, the author brings to light the mighty works of Rev. Ting Li Mei (1871-1936) who
was acclaimed "Moody of China" in the generation before John Sung. He
belonged to the times of transition from the Manchus to the
Revolution under Sun Yat-Sen and Chiang Kai Shek. Read the
blood-curdling experiences of missionaries in the Boxer Rebellion
(1900)!
May this book
stir some young man or woman to give up the world and serve the Lord
fulltime. |

IN JOHN SUNG'S STEPS - The Story of
Lim Puay Hian
Puay-hian was
certainly raised up by God to be a voice crying in the spiritual
wilderness of East Asia. Like David he faithfully served his
generation by the will of God and many thousands will rise up to call
him blessed. This story of the triumph of God's grace in and through
His servant completes yet another chapter in the thrilling history of
the Chinese church and I warmly commend it to a generation of readers
who may not be sufficiently aware of their great spiritual heritage.
- Leslie T. Lyall.
