Ordination of Dennis Kwok (Truth BPC) & Nguyen Gia Hien (Brisbane BPC)

Introducing the Ordinands
Dennis Kwok was theologically trained at FEBC.
He studied for 4 years and earned his Bachelor of Theology degree in 2001.
He then served as a full-time worker of Calvary B-P Church (Jurong) for
another 4 years. In 2005, he took a stand for the verbal and plenary
preservation of the Holy Scriptures as taught by the Lord Himself (Psalm
12:6-7, Matt 5:18, 24:35), and affirmed in the Westminster Confession of
Faith (1:8). Believing in the present infallibility and inerrancy of the
Holy Scriptures, in the Hebrew OT and Greek NT on which the AV/KJV is
based, he and those of like mind and spirit took a step of faith to found
Truth B-P Church.
Nguyen Gia Hien was born to a Christian family in Vietnam. He was a
university lecturer before the Lord called him to full-time ministry. He
enrolled at Trinity Theological College (Singapore) but quit the school
after one month because of its liberalism and modernism. The Lord
providentially led him to FEBC where he trained for 4 years with great joy,
and graduated with a double Masters (MDiv and ThM) with highest honours. He
then became a missionary preacher of True Life B-P Church to Australia, and
founded the
Brisbane B-P
Church in 2004. Hien believes in the present perfection of the Holy
Scriptures and teaches the Bible in both the English and Vietnamese
languages.
