Jesus
Is a Perfect Man (Part 5)
Thank God
for so much loving mankind, including you and me, that He gave His only
begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ! Sadly, many still ignore God’s love
and His Gift and have not opened their hearts to welcome the Lord Jesus
as the King and Saviour of their lives. If the Lord Jesus had not
humbled Himself to become a Man coming into this world, you and I could
never know God properly, nor have a perfect Example to follow, nor have
a true Gospel of God’s salvation. Moreover, the purposes and blessings
of Jesus’ Incarnation are very precious:
Jesus lived
and kept God’s law
to give His righteousness to those who believe in Him (Rom 5:17).
Without Jesus Christ, you and I cannot be accepted before the holy God.
Jesus died
to bear the sins of mankind
(1 John 2:2). If Jesus had not humbly become a Man to die for you and
me, we would be judged and condemned for our own sins!
Jesus rose
again to justify and save those who believe in Him
(Rom 4:25; Heb 7:25). If Jesus had not risen from the dead, your faith
and mine would be in vain (1 Cor 15:14).
Jesus is the
only Mediator between God and mankind
(1 Tim 2:5). If Jesus had not humbly become a Man, you and I could not
approach the holy God.
Jesus is the
sympathetic, merciful and faithful High Priest
(Heb 2:17; 4:15). If Jesus had not humbly become a Man and endured all
temptations and testings like as we are, how could He be touched with
the feeling of our infirmities and help us?
Jesus is the
Head of the Church
(Col 1:18). If Jesus had not humbly become a Man, the Church would only
be a human organisation without His life and guidance.
Jesus will
come back to establish His millennial Kingdom of peace on earth
(Rev 20:6). If Jesus had not humbly become a Man, there would not be His
Kingdom of peace on earth!
