Jesus Is the Saviour of the World

What are you thinking about Christmas? Sadly, very few think of the Saviour Jesus Christ as the Centre of Christmas, who humbly became a Man to die for them and to rise again for their salvation!

Many are feeling lonely and thirsty for love but disappointed because they cannot find true love in this world. Christmas reminds everyone of us of the true love of the Creator for mankind, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16), and “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9). God truly loves you and me. Have you received His love?

Many still feel bored and empty despite having tried enjoying worldly pleasures. Many others are sad and worried because they just lost their jobs and got sick or had broken marriage or unhappy family, difficulties, trials, etc. Many others are suffering a lot under the bondage of sins, sexual lusts, alcohol, gambling, drugs, etc. How all mankind need the Saviour Jesus! The Lord Jesus is able to save us from the bondage of sins and to give us His true peace and joy which neither anyone nor anything in this world can give to us. At the night Jesus was born, the angels praised God and announced the good news of salvation to the shepherds who were keeping their sheep, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord…Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:10-11, 14). That is also the good news for you and me at this Christmas if we sincerely believe and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as the Saviour and King of our lives.
