A Loving Heart (Part 1)
Everyone has his own view or philosophy of life, which
directs him to pursue what he desires: wealth, fame, power, worldly
pleasures, religions, good health, longevity, etc. However, God’s Word
tells us that physical life of man is only temporary. No matter how long
man can live, he cannot escape his death and then will leave behind his
loved ones and all his material possessions. His soul will last forever
and be judged: whether enjoying eternal bliss in Heaven or suffering
eternal torture in Hell, “And as it is appointed unto men once to
die, but after this the judgment” (Heb 9:27), and “Come, ye
blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world” (Matt 25:34), and “But the fearful, and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the
lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”
(Rev 21:8).
There is one thing that will never perish and that you
and I may bring along to Heaven after death, and that is a loving heart,
“Charity (love – agape) never faileth” (1 Cor 13:8). This
is not human selfish love but God’s holy love as He is Love (agape) and
the Source of love (agape). In order to have this divine love, you and I
must be God’s children and “partakers of the divine nature,”
which is love (2 Peter 1:4), “Beloved, let us love one another: for
love (agape) is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God,
and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love
(agape)” (1 John 4:7-8).

Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour so that your hearts may be transformed
