The Risen Saviour Jesus

Dear friends, today is Good Friday, the day the Lord Jesus was crucified on the cross for the sins of mankind, including yours and mine. Perhaps you do not believe that the Lord Jesus died for your sins. Many do not believe that they have sins, if any, their sins are just common mistakes, and there is no need to worry. Many others think that no one else can save them except themselves. Therefore, they do not need the Saviour Jesus.

Dear friends, whether your sin is serious or light, more or less, sin is still sin and it will bring you to the judgment on the Judgement Day before the holy and righteous God. Many have done sinful things that others do not know, but all cannot escape justice of the omniscient God, who sees and knows all things, even their hearts and minds. God’s Word confirms, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23), and “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8), and “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Rev 21:8).

Dear friends, if human beings could save themselves, the Lord Jesus would not have humbled Himself to be a man to die for their sins. However, because of God’s love, the Lord Jesus came and died to bear your sins and mine. Moreover, after being buried, on the third day, the Lord Jesus rose again to be the Risen Saviour, ever living to save those who believe in Him and pray to Him, “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom 4:25; 10:13). Have you prayed to the Risen Saviour Jesus to save you?
